The former All Black lock Brad Thorn is expected to miss the remainder of the Highlanders' Super Rugby season after suffering a torn bicep.
The 39-year-old dual international has reportedly had surgery for the injury which forced him from the field early in the second half of the Highlanders 27-20 win over the Bulls in Dunedin on Friday night.
A Highlanders spokesperson says it's anticipated Thorn will miss the rest of the season.
