Waitakere United have been dumped out of football's Oceania Champions League following a 3-1 loss to Tahiti's AS Pirae, while Auckland City advanced to the semi-finals as the best placed runners-up.
Auckland City finished second in group B with six points as Waitakere missed out on the final four by the slimmest of margins - they finished on the same amount of points as the Solomon Warriors in group A, but miss out on the semis on goal difference.
Auckland City will face AS Pirae in a home and away semi-final tie late this month and early next month.
