A fan who hit South Sydney and England rugby league forward Sam Burgess on the head with a stick has apologised.
Burgess was struck as he left the pitch following his side's 18-2 win over Penrith Panthers last week.
Penrith's investigated the incident and says the woman has come forward to offer an explanation and apologise.
