Another assertive shooting performance by Jhaniele Fowler-Reid has helped the Southern Steel to a resounding 77-61 victory over the Mainland Tactix in the trans-tasman netball competiion.
Promising to be a battle of the big shooters, it was Fowler-Reid who really came to the fore, using her height advantage and confidence in the air to nail all but one of her 61 shots.
The win lifts the Steel to 7th in the ten team competition while the loss keeps the Tactix firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.
