The All Black centre Luke McAlister is likely to be available for the end-of-year-tour of Europe.
McAlister injured his ankle at North Harbour training this week and while ruled out of a the rest of the Air New Zealand Cup, an MRI scan has shown no structural damage.
It now appears a short rehab will see him available for selection for the first All Blacks game in Tokyo in two weeks.
