The Canterbury Rams and Otago Nuggets came out on top in two overtime contests in the National Basketball League on Friday night.
Canterbury came from behind to defeat the Manawatu Jets 101-92 in Timaru, and the Otago Nuggets ended the Hawks' four-game winning streak with a 97-91 win in Dunedin.
The Rams looked dead and buried trailing by six points with under a minute left in regulation.
But two straight three point shots by American Glen Dandridge tied the scores at 87 and forced the game to an extra period, before Canterbury stepped up in overtime to seal their first win of 2014.
