The former New Zealand test cricketer Grant Bradburn has been appointed as the coach of the Scotland national team.
The 48-year-old led Northern Districts to first class and one day titles during his five year stint as their coach, while in the last year, he's been at the helm of the New Zealand A side.
Bradburn will be in Scotland for two weeks in May, to meet the players and support staff and attend the Royal London one day international between Scotland and England in Aberdeen.
He will also attend an ICC seminar being held in Scotland for the four World Cup Qualifiers.
Bradburn will then return to New Zealand before returning to take up his position full time on July the 1st, with his contract running to the end of 2017.
He'll lead Scotland at next year's One-day World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
