Taranaki have won their second straight National Basketball League game in another upset, defeating the Otago Nuggets 86-84 on the road in Dunedin.
Hawke's Bay beat the visiting Canterbury Rams 91-89 in Taradale, the Hawks winning the game off a Jarrod Kenny alley-oop layup on the buzzer.
The Wellington Saints also edged the visiting Nelson Giants 81-77.
