New Zealand's second-ranked woman's player Sacha Jones has beaten the top seed at the $25,000 ITF Pro Circuit Tournament in Port Pirie, South Australia.
Jones defeated Japanese player Yurika Semi 7-5 4-6 6-2 in the quarter-final.
Last week Jones did the same thing at Mt Gambier, upsetting Semi on her way to the final and eventual victory over Alicia Molik.
The young Aucklander will now play wildcard Bojana Bobuscic from Perth in the semi-final at Port Pirie, a repeat of the final at the tournament in Darwin three weeks ago - which Jones won.
