Team New Zealand has confirmed it won't be entering the next Volvo Ocean Race.
The organisation's CEO Grant Dalton says the team's energies would be better directed towards contesting the next America's Cup.
Team New Zealand had explored a joint challenge with Spanish interests for the round the world race, which starts at Alicante on October the 4th this year.
Dalton says the team wasn't convinced it could mount a successful challenge in the time available.
Their boat Camper finished second in the last race in 2012.
