The Black Cap Corey Anderson was named man of the match as his Mumbai Indians logged their first win of the season in the Indian Premier League .

Coached By Jon Wright, the defending champions lost the first five games played in the United Arab Emirates where the competition was moved to avoid a clash with the Indian general election.

But upon Sunday's return home, Mumbai beat the Kings Eleven Punjab by five wickets.

Anderson hit 35 runs and took one wicket, and says he's under pressure to perform after hitting the world's fastest one-day international century in January.

The New Zealander says he'll never be able to repeat the feat, but he hopes to hit at least one big score for Mumbai this season.

The Indians are on the bottom of the eight team table, while Brendon McCullum's Chennai Super Kings are on top after six rounds.
