The Central Pulse midcourter Camilla Lees believes they have the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic's number after recording their second win of the season over the table topping trans-Tasman netball championship side.
Monday night's 54-44 victory in Porirua lifted the Wellington based side to fifth, just one win outside the playoff bound top four.
The Pulse are the only team to beat the 2012 champions this season and Lees says they have the perfect plan to break the Magic's spell.
Despite the loss the Magic remain level on points with the first placed Melbourne Vixens but sit in second place by virtue of a worse points differential.
