The New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum and Black Caps paceman Tim Southee have both had wins in the Indian Premier League, for Chennai and Rajasthan respectively.

Rajasthan beat Kolkata by 20 runs in Ahmedabad with Southee failing to bat or take any wickets in his side's victory before McCullum scored 32 runs in Chennai's eight-wicket away win over Delhi.

Fellow Black Cap Ross Taylor, who's in the Dehli squad, didn't play.

Chennai, who are coached by former Black Caps captain Stephen Fleming, lead the eight-team competition, while Rajasthan are third, level on points with second-placed Punjab.
