The Warriors rugby league player, Konrad Hurrell, will play in the weekend's NRL game against Canberra despite being fined $5000 over a sex video which surfaced on social media this week.

The video reportedly showed the 22-year-old engaged in a sex act while driving.

The club's also ordered him to undergo social media counselling.

On a video posted on the Warriors' website Hurrell spoke of his embarassment.

He apolgised to the club, fans, family and friends for what he'd done but made no specific reference to the video.

Hurrell says he was stupid but has learnt a lot from the incident and is pleased he's still able to play this week.
