All Whites World Cup review completed

The long awaited review of the All Whites' failed bid to qualify for the football World Cup has finally been completed.

The incoming New Zealand Football chief executive, Andy Martin, had expected the to have the report available when he started the job in February, but has only just received it.

New Zealand Football have not released the report, prepared by Stephen Cottrell of Cottsport, to media, but is acknowledges the challenges involved in assembling the best players regularly to play quality opposition.

Martin says many of the report's recommendations are already being implemented and the vacant head coaching role was also advertised today.

Applications for the role close on May 30, the same day the All Whites play South Africa in Auckland.
