Gap closes in Super Rugby

The top of the Super Rugby table has become much more congested ahead of the round's final game this afternoon between the Queensland Reds and the Crusaders in Brisbane.

League leaders the Sharks are just a point clear of the champion Chiefs, after the South Africans lost in Canberra to the ACT Brumbies, who climb to within two points of the Sharks in third place.

The Western Force are up to fourth after beating the Cheetahs 23-16 in Bloemfontein, while the Hurricanes are a point behind in fifth, following their win in Melbourne on Friday night, one point clear of the Highlanders, who scraped past the Lions in Dunedin 23-22.

The Bulls scored 28 unanswered points to defeat the Stormers 28-12 in their all-South African derby in Pretoria.
