11:42 am on 13 May 2014

The Los Angeles Clippers rallied for a 101-99 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder to even their best-of-seven NBA basketball Western Conference semi-final at 2-2.

The Clippers overcame a 22-point hole in the first quarter and never led until the final minutes, yet found a way to avoid being pushed to the brink of playoff elimination.

Thunder guard Russell Westbrook missed a potential game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer.

Kevin Durant had a game-high 40 points and added seven rebounds in the crushing defeat.

New Zealander Steven Adams played 11 minutes with 1 point and 4 rebounds for OKC.

Game five is in Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
