The Fijian speedster Samisoni Viriviri has been named the 2014 IRB Sevens Player of the Year.
He becomes the first Fijian to win the award since it was first presented in 2004, having finished the season with 52 tries.
The New Zealander Tim Mikkelson, who won last year, was among the finalists.
New Zealand secured their 12th IRB series title on their way to winning the London round.
