The Boxing Day Test match is back with New Zealand Cricket confirming the national men's side will face Sri Lanka in the series opener.
The venue's yet to be confirmed but the Boxing Day Test gets a reprieve due to the One Day World Cup.
As that's being held here and in Australia next February, the usual order of ODIs followed by Tests is being reversed.
