Palmerston North golfer Tim Wilkinson's fired a one over par 71 to drop to a clubhouse share of 19th at the latest PGA Tour event in Texas.
Wilkinson's five shots off the six under pace set by the leader Brendon Todd, the American shooting an eight under 64.
Englishman Paul Casey set a new PGA Tour record for the lowest nine-hole total, following his eight under par 27 on his opening nine holes. Casey's in an eight-way share of second, two shots behind Todd.
Rotorua's Danny Lee blew out majorly in his second round, shooting a seven over 77 to miss the cut in 128th equal place - 12 strokes behind the leader.
