The New Zealand Breakers have kept their unbeaten home record alive in the Australian National Basketball league with a 92-82 win over the Townsville Crocodiles.

The Breakers were up by 16 after the first quarter, 15 at half-time and then were up by 19 at three-quarter time.

Every Breakers player needed to pick up the slack in the absence of injured go-to scorer Kirk Penney and five managed to rack up double digits.

Import Awvee Storey led all scorers with 22 points, while centre Rick Rickert scored 16 points and pulled down 18 rebounds.

The Breakers now have a 3 and 3 record and are fifth on the table.
