Auckland City qualify for Club World Cup

Auckland City have qualified for the Club World Cup after defeating Amicale 2-1 in the final match of the Oceania Champions League.

Played at Auckland's Kiwitea Street on Sunday, the Vanuatu club took the lead at the end of the first half with a goal from Kensi Tangis.

Auckland's Ryan de Vries slotted the equaliser in the 67th minute before Emiliano Tade scored the winner three minutes before full time.

The victory sends Auckland to their sixth FIFA Club World Cup to be played in Morocco in December.
