New Zealand Cricket has confirmed the Black Caps captain Brendon McCullum is not under investigation by the International Cricket Council after his testimony was leaked to the media.
A Daily Mail report says McCullum told the ICC's anti-corruption unit he was offered nearly $200,000 to underperform by a former international player in 2008.
NZ Cricket chief executive David White doesn't know when the approach was first reported by McCullum.
White says they are in contact with the ICC about the investigation, but doesn't know how long it will take to be resolved.
And he says they're dismayed McCullum's testimony has been leaked.
White says McCullum's testimony has been applauded by the ICC and they have 100 percent confidence in his role in tackling corruption.
The Mail says the player is the same one who former Black Cap Lou Vincent reportedly told investigators he was involved in match-fixing with.
The publication quotes McCullum as saying his 'hero' tried to bribe him in a Worcester cafe during New Zealand's tour in 2008.
He was told that all the big boys in international cricket were doing it and also how he could hide the money trail.
