Former Tall Black Phill Jones celebrated his National Basketball League record 362nd game with a win as the Nelson Giants defeated the Manawatu Jets 91-82 in Palmerston North.
Jones had 11 points and five assists as the Giants overcame a seven-point half-time deficit to win the third period 27-13 and then push their lead up to as many 16 in the fourth.
