Mid Canterbury won't get to host the Meads Cup rugby final this weekend because of a clash of events at the Ashburton Showgrounds.
Mid-Canterbury will play Wanganui in the Heartland Championship decider, but it will be played at Rugby Park in Christchurch as the 132nd A and P show is on at the Showgrounds.
Supporters will have to travel an hour north to cheer on their team.
