The European import Speed Gifted has been withdrawn from next Tuesday's million dollar Melbourne Cup.
Trainer Lee Freedman decided yesterday to abandon the campaign of the one time Cup favourite which was well beaten in last Saturday's Cox Plate, and has been jarring up on the hard tracks in Melbourne.
