The Central Pulse's ANZ netball play-off hopes are all but over after a big loss to the Queensland Firebirds on the Gold Coast.
The Firebirds won 60-33 to cement their place in the top four.
The Pulse started the day in 5th place and on the same points as Queensland, but the homeside completly dominated the Pulse from the first whistle and led 34-16 at half time.
The Pulse have one game left and will need a big win against the West Coast Fever next weekend and other matches to go their way to make the play-offs.
