Latvia's Ernests Gulbis won his sixth career ATP tennis title and first on clay when he captured the Nice crown overnight, just a day before the start of the French Open.
Gulbis, who won in nearby Marseille earlier this year, beat Argentina's Federico Delbonis 6-1 7-6 (7-5) to maintain his perfect record in ATP finals.
The 25-year-old world number 19 took his claycourt record in 2014 to 12-4.
The unpredictable Gulbis will face Poland's Lukasz Kubot in the first round of the French Open where he reached the quarter-finals in 2008.
