Erakovic thankful for extra days training

The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic is looking forward to a days training as she attempts to iron out any flaws in her game before her second round clash with world number six Petra Kvitova at the French Open.

Erakovic breezed into the second round at Rolland Garros for the third time after a straight sets win over unseeded Ukrainian Nadiya Kichenok, the world number 60 pleased to emerge unscathed from her first match at the grand slam.

Erakovic cruised through the match in less than an hour, but will face a much tougher task in the second round against the former Wimbledon champion Czech fifth seed Petra Kvitova, who's beaten Erakovic in all three of the previous matches they've played.
