The New Zealand tennis player Michael Venus has been beaten in the first round of doubles at the French Open in Paris.
Venus and British partner Ken Skupski have been beaten 6-2, 6-3 in an hour by the Brazilian /Croatian combination of Andre Sa and Mate Pavic.
It was Venus's second ever Grand Slam appearance after reaching the third round at the Australian Open in January
