The New Zealand tennis number one Marina Erakovic has been beaten by fifth seed Petra Kvitova in the second round of singles at the French Open.
In an even contest the Czech Republic player won 6-4 6-4.
Erakovic and her partner Arantxa Parra Santonja of Spain, the 16th seeds, will play a German pair in the second round of doubles tonight.
