The Wellington motorcyclist Bruce Anstey has finished a close second on his Honda in the Supersport event for 600cc motorcycles at the Isle of Man TT.
Anstey, who set an outright lap record of 212 kilometres per hour over the 61-kilometre road course in yesterday's Superbike race, finished just 1.5 seconds behind British rider Gary Johnson.
A 65-year-old British rider died after crashing during the race.
