Val Adams has won the shot put at the Rome Diamond League athletics meeting.
After a no throw in the first round, Adams threw 20 point 01 metres in the second round to take the lead.
She finished 41cms ahead of world number two Christina Schwantz of Germany with Lijiao Gong of China third.
It is Adams' 48th consecutive competition win and extends her lead in the Diamond standings after 2 events.
