The New Zealand men's hockey team has drawn 1-all with hosts The Netherlands in their final pool match at the World Cup in The Hague.
The Netherlands scored in a dominant first half, but the Black Sticks manager to gain some parity in the second spell with Simon Child scoring a field goal late in the game.
The result means New Zealand finish 4th in their group and will play-off with Spain for 7th.
In the semi-finals the Netherlands play England and Australia play Argentina.
In the womens semi-finals the Netherlands play Argentina and Australia play the United States.
The New Zealand women will play China for 5th place.
