On a deteriorating wicket the New Zealand cricketers have struggled through to 100 for 5 just after lunch on the 4th day of the opening Test against the West Indies in Jamaica.

That gives the tourists a lead of 346 runs.

While wickets have fallen around him Tom Latham has continued a fine batting performance in this Test, he's unbeaten on 53, while Jimmy Neesham is on 16.

Earlier night watchman Ish Sodhi made 4, Ross Taylor a golden duck and Brendan McCullum 17.

Pace bowler Jerome Taylor has 3 wickets.
