The Warriors coach Ivan Cleary says the club's long-serving captain Steve Price is understandably disappointed after losing the job to the younger Simon Mannering.
The 23-year-old second rower - who's missed the Kiwis tour with a knee injury -- was named yesterday to replace Price who's led the Warriors for the last five years.
Ivan Cleary says they'd been thinking about the captaincy for a while, with Price perhaps having only a season or two left in the National Rugby League.
