Sepp Blatter says he'll seek a 5th term as Fifa boss

6:44 pm on 12 June 2014

Sepp Blatter has indicated he wants to seek a fifth term as Fifa president and called Uefa "disrespectful" after calls for his resignation.

He has been widely criticised over the damage corruption allegations have caused football's governing body.

But the 78-year-old Swiss says he's angered by calls by his European counterparts for him to quit.

Rather than stand aside Blatter gave delegates at Fifas congress in Sao Paulo the clearest hint yet that he's ready to lead them for a 5th term....

OUT:...thank-you so much.

DUR:...22 secs

Blatter is clear to run again after the congress voted against bringing in term and age limits for Fifa officials.
