Roger Federer stepped up his preparations for Wimbledon by winning the Halle Open for a seventh time, with a 7-6 7-6 win over Columbia's Alejandro Falla in Germany.
The 32-year-old Swiss was forced to work hard to overcome the stubborn South American, but Federer says he's happy to have achieved his goals for the week, to collect the title, play good tennis and have fun.
