11 wickets fall on day one in Port of Spain

The West Indies are six for one in reply to New Zealand's first innings of 221 after the first day of the second cricket Test in Port of Spain.

The Black Caps decided to bat first and were 120 for one just after lunch, but then lost their last nine wickets for just 101 runs.

Tom Latham made 82 and Kane Williamson 42, while Ross Taylor was unbeaten on 45.

Pace bowler Jerome Taylor took four wickets and spinner Sulieman Benn three.

Trent Boult then picked up the wicket of Chris Gayle for one.

New Zealand won the first match in the three-Test series.
