Pakistan's cricketers are chasing 304 to beat New Zealand in the second one-day international in Abu Dhabi after Brendon McCullum gave the Black Caps a good chance of levelling the series with an imposing 131.

McCullum and Martin Guptill put on 126 for the second wicket after Aaron Redmond went for 6 with the score on 61.

Ross Taylor failed to score but Guptill made 62 and the Black Caps got to 303 for eight with 30 from skipper Dan Vettori and an unbeaten 33 from Jacob Oram.
