Black Caps on verge of defeat

6:09 am on 21 June 2014

The Black Caps have set the West Indies a paltry target of just 93 runs for victory on day five of the second cricket Test in Trinidad.

New Zealand were dismissed for 331 in their second innings after resuming play on day five at 257 for 8.

Stubborn resistance from the tail ender Mark Craig helped the spin bowler top score with 67, his maiden half century in just his second Test.

Craig was joined in a two hour stand at Queens Park Oval in the morning session by keeper BJ Watling who finished 66 not out.

Kemar Roach was the best of the Windies bowlers taking four wickets for 74 runs off 28 overs.
