Seven NZ crews into rowing finals

The New Zealand rowers continued their strong form on the second day at the World Rowing Cup in France with seven crews progressing directly to the A Finals.

Olympic champion single sculler Mahe Drysdale and the world champion pair of Hamish Bond and Eric Murray led the way in winning their events to qualify, the latter duo's domination clear for all to see.

Women's lightweight single sculler Julia Edward, women's single sculler Emma Twigg, men's double scullers Karl and Robbie Manson and the men's lightweight four and the women's quad also advanced to their respective finals.
