The Melbourne Vixens celebrated their second ANZ championship title with an emphatic 53-42 win in last night's Grand Final over the Queensland Firebirds.
The Vixens finished the regular season as minor premiers, and it's their second ANZ title having won the 2009 premiership.
It was a fairytale finish for Melbourne's retiring goal shooter, 37 year old Catherine Cox after an 18-year career which includes two world championships and Commonwealth Games gold.
