Black Caps battling in Barbados

7:24 am on 27 June 2014

The New Zealand cricketers were 217 for 7 at tea on day one of the third and deciding test against the West Indies in Barbados.

The Black Caps won the toss and chose to bat, but were quickly on the back foot after losing both openers cheaply.

All-rounder Jimmy Neesham is the only batsmen to score more than 50 runs, he's currently at the crease with spinner Mark Craig as the Black Caps battle to post a respectable first innings total.

The three-test series is tied 1-all.
