Bolt a six-time Olympic gold medallist missed last weekend's Jamaican championships which was the selection meeting for Glasgow havnig requested a medical exemptions.
He'd earlier indicated he wasn't interested in competing in Glasgow but had a change of heart last week.
However Bolt, who's the world record holder in the 100m and 200m, had said he didn't want to take a spot in an individual race from an athlete who earned selection at the trials.
