The US sportswear company Nike has confirmed they'll not renew their kit supply deal with English football club Manchester United when it expires next year.

German rival Adidas are expected to replace Nike as a partner of the 20-times English champions.

Nike has been supplying United's famous red shirts since 2002.

United got around $75 million from the Nike deal in 2012-13, including its share of profit from the sale of merchandise around the world.

Media reports have suggested the club's looking for a new deal worth around $120 million per season.
