The diminutive American golfer Mo Martin has broken through for her maiden win on the LPGA Tour, and it just happens to be a major championship.
Martin is the new British Open champion after posting a one under par total at Royal Birkdale to win by one stroke from the Norwegian Suzanne Pettersen and China's Shanshan Feng.
Martin had previously had only one top-10 finish since joining the LPGA Tour in 2012.
No one broke par on a high scoring final day, and New Zealand's Lydia Ko ballooned to an 80, to finish in a tie for 29th.
