Flanker Juan Smith is set for a dramatic return to the South African rugby team some 18 months after injury forced his premature retirement from the game.
According to Smith, he and his team-mates at the French club Toulon, Bakkies Botha and Bryan Habana are wanted by the Springboks selectors for the Rugby Championship over the next three months.
The Springbok squad for the southern hemisphere championship is due to be announced on the 2nd of next month, and Toulon have said the trio will be released to play in the six-Test competition.
