Former All Black wing Jonah Lomu will make his long-awaited return to rugby tonight when he turns out at centre for the French third-division side Marseille-Vitrolles.
He has signed a two-year deal with the French team, and began training with them earlier this month.
The 34-year-old earned 63 All Black caps between 1994 and 2002 before his career was cut short by kidney disease.
After a kidney transplant in 2004, Lomu's first comeback attempt with Welsh team Cardiff in 2005 lasted just one season, and he retired from rugby in 2007 after a short stint at North Harbour.
Marseille-Vitrolles face Montmelian early tomorrow morning.
