LA Galaxy and England star David Beckham will take pain-killing injections for a bruised ankle bone before Sunday's MLS Cup final but will be fit for the game against Real Salt Lake.
The midfielder told a news conference after training he'd not been able to train this week due to the injury to his right ankle but would play, albeit after injections.
Beckham's team mate Landon Donovan says the midfielder had been playing through pain or illness through the past six weeks.
